While you may have your own personal favorite countries to visit, there are many travel experts out there who make their living planning trips to destinations around the world, and they may have some better recommendations. After all, an expert’s career depends on finding the best places to go and offering high-quality services to customers, so they should know where you should travel in 2022! If you want to find out which countries are in hot demand over the next few years, check out this list of top 6 countries to visit in 2022. You’ll never want to travel anywhere else again!

1) Brazil
Brazil is often overlooked as a travel destination because people think that Rio only offers incredible beauty when the Olympics happen. However, Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world and there are so many incredible things about it. It has friendly people who want to take care of visitors, delicious food that you could eat every day, and stunning views at every turn. This is why Brazil should be one of your first choices for visiting in 2022!
Although it will still technically be part of South America, most Americans won’t consider Argentina part of South America since they think it is part of Europe somehow. Buenos Aires, Argentina’s capital city, has an awesome public transportation system with sleek trains and buses, making getting around easy and fun. The Andes mountain range makes up much of Argentina’s western border with Chile while its eastern border lies along Lago Mar Argentino where you can see beautiful glaciers jutting out into the water. You can even catch a ferry out on these lakes to find hidden islands that feel like paradise even though they’re right near the bustling city streets.

2) Norway
Norway was first colonized by Norsemen back in the late 8th century, and they have been holding strong ever since. We’re not sure why they call it the Land of the Vikings but that’s what they call it. What makes Norway so interesting is that you can find such beautiful contrasts throughout this country. The landscapes range from rugged snow-capped mountains to rolling hills and woodlands with lakes and rivers. This northernmost European country is famous for its deep fjords cut into the rock by glaciers along the coasts with thousands of miles of coastline. Norway is also home to more than 100 bird species that never leave (kidding). Seriously though there are hundreds of migratory birds living on its coastlines because Norway has over 1 million islands and islets surrounding it!

3) Iceland
Argentina is slowly recovering from its economic downturn after the recession a few years ago. This has opened the door for Argentinean travel and tourism. Argentina’s culture is rich and diverse with its many historic locations, ranches, and nightclubs. The weather may be hot during the summer months but there are plenty of options for hiking and biking while also experiencing Argentina’s cafes. One of the best places to explore is Mendoza which has a wine industry that attracts visitors year-round. It is said that Mendoza offers some of the best wine tours in South America which allows visitors to experience its authentic food, wines, architecture, and artisans.

4) Antarctica
Off the beaten path doesn’t mean off the map. Head south of South America to find the landlocked and the icy continent of Antarctica. Spanning some 5.4 million square miles, it is larger than Australia or continental Europe. Crossing Antarctica by boat takes around 4 weeks each way- it’s not a destination for most tourists looking for quick getaways. But if you’re willing to spend up to two months exploring this vast wilderness, then we recommend booking passage on the M/S Expedition in 2020, before she goes into dry dock for refurbishment.

5) Australia
Australia is home to a vast and stunning array of landscapes, making it the perfect country for those who want to explore lots of diverse places without ever having to go too far. There are deserts and sandy beaches; tropical rainforests and untouched nature reserves; everything from snow-capped mountains and arid plateaus to cascading waterfalls – there really is something for everyone.

6) The UK
In 2016 The Telegraph ranked the UK as the 12th best country in the world. Britain is famed for its cities such as London and Birmingham, with their varied architecture and culture. Being an island nation it also offers excellent coastal and countryside views on both sides of the coast. Most recently Kew Gardens was announced as the best garden on earth – a highlight not to be missed!
