Protect Your K9 From Biting Others

K9 Bite Suits are used for protection, security and other jobs. They provide protection to the work glove wearer and the bite sleeve. These protective vests have multiple uses including protection of the work glove or the bite sleeve, from chemicals used in the handling, protection against choking hazards and retrieval of injured persons. K9 bite suits were designed with the comfort and safety of the workers in mind. They should be worn for protection when working with hazardous materials and in dangerous environments.

K9 Bite Suits protect the hands while protecting the hands from cuts, irritations, abrasions and cuts to the skin in case of accidental injury. K9 work gloves have been designed by keeping in mind the need to provide optimum comfort and safety to the workers while also preventing the accidental transfer of infections. K9 work gear should be clean and free of any debris to prevent contamination of the workplace and the workers. They should be made of good quality material and should contain all the appropriate labeling. There should be proper cleaning procedures after each use and new ones should be replaced at regular intervals.

There is a rinse station in every canine bomb suit. The rinse station ensures that the suit has been cleaned thoroughly to remove any residue, dust or other contaminants before it is put to use. There should be a drain pan for the suit so that all the waste can be removed and disposed of properly. K9 bite suits should be stored in a safe place when not in use and this could be done using zippers on the hazmat suits and seals on the bomb suits. All the necessary protective gear should be used when handling them and proper instructions should be followed.

All K9 bite suits should have a rinse station that sprays water and detergent onto the gear. The detergent acts as a disinfectant to kill any bacteria that might be present in the air and is especially effective for bacteria found in soil. The sprayer should spray a sufficient amount of water and detergent into the water rinse station so that all the gear is thoroughly cleaned.

K9 bite suits should also have sleeves. The sleeves of the k9 bite suits should be flame resistant and be able to keep hold of the dog while it is being transported. A leak or puncture in the sleeve would allow the dog to get away from the handler. Sleeves should be checked periodically when they are not in use to see if they have tears or holes. Any leakage in the sleeves can allow germs to get into the suit and contaminate the air with dangerous pathogens.

K9 bite suits should have a chemical-resistant cover to protect against chemical spills. All the components of the k9 bomb suits should have proper handles. This should be made from materials that are chemical resistant and are usually fabricated in the U.S. or Europe. Chemical handles should be used whenever possible. However, if the handler is not capable of wearing a chemical resistant handle, then a universal handle that is made from either stainless steel or high quality polyester should be used. The handles of the k9 bomb suits should be of heavy duty so that handlers can easily pick them up when necessary and be able to use them when necessary.

The accessories that go with the k9 bite or bomb suits should also be of proper durability and strength. These accessories include the harness, collar, leash and leashes. Collar should be made from a thick but stretchy material and should be one hundred percent effective in deterring the dog from biting. Leash and harnesses should be the right size for the dog and also be able to withstand the extreme temperature of most working environments. Any Leash that is used for transporting should be securely attached.

Last, but not the least, K9 bomb suits, dog bite sleeves and leashes should be made from materials that will allow the handler to easily change them into tight dog boots or tight dog leashes. Changing these parts can be done easily when needed. There are two types of keeper suits, tight and loose. A tight keeper should be preferred over loose since it is more convenient and easier to maintain than the loose style. These parts of the dog bite protectors should be chosen carefully.
